There is something comforting about a road that leads you home. As the sun settles behind the mountains, the last light of the day spills across the landscape, turning the sky into a beautiful mix of warm, glowing colours. The road winds its way toward the mountains, inviting you forward and bringing with it that familiar feeling of returning to a place you belong.

For me, this painting is about more than the destination. It's about the feeling of heading west, the anticipation of seeing the mountains, and the comfort of knowing you're on your way to a beautiful place.
