In this collection, Prairie Characters, I’ve painted four unique barns as round portraits—like faces in a family album. Each barn has its own posture, its own presence, and its own kind of strength. They are shaped by decades of sunrises and storms, harvests and stillness. Though the fields stretch wide around them, these barns anchor the view, offering a sense of place, memory, and home.
